2022 GLOBAL MEETINGS INDUSTRY DAY HELD IN ASTURIAS

Business meetings professionals in Asturias celebrated the 2022 Global Meetings Industry Day – GMID22 with a meeting organized by Oviedo Congresos, Avilés Club de Empresas, and Asturias Convention Bureau.

The in-person event, which took place at the Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones Ciudad de Oviedo, began with a participatory exercise for the attendees. The regional Deputy Minister for Tourism in Asturias introduced the MICE Product Positioning Plan of Asturias.

The debate revolved around two panels, one on “Digitalization, conciliation and democratization of meetings” and another on “New generations and talent management“.
